Aromatherapy is the use of natural oils extracted from different plant parts such as flowers, barks, stems, roots, and leaves to improve the emotional, physical, spiritual and mental well-being of a person. It contains a lot of benefits for the body and can be applied in many ways like: massaging, reed diffuser, scented candles, oil burners, immersion or topical application. It is a form of alternative medicine that has been growing its popularity over the years.

Here are some of the benefits that aromatherapy can offer you as it is an alternative way of healing.

Some of the essential oils used in aromatherapy like: citrus, frankincense and other oils that have vibrant aromas can actually help in fighting depression.
