• 108 semi-precious Brown Jasper – 8mm
• 1 ceramic/green turquoise guru bead – 10 mm
• brown or deep red cotton tassel
• Cotton thread is used for knotting beads without stretching or fraying. Also cotton thread used as tassel.Entire length is approximately 60cm from top to end of tassel for 8mm diameter bead.
• Can round wrist up to 3 times when used as wrap bracelet.
• Comes with a muslin bag where you can keep mala when not in use or when placing on top of your meditation altar.

How To Use Your Mala

1. Choose a quiet still place to meditate, away from all the distractions.
2. Sitting comfortably preferably in lotus pose, hold with your right or left hand while cradling the weight with your other hand.
3. Set intention first. You can either close your eyes to focus or soft gaze focus on something.
4. Start reciting your mantra, as you recite your mantra; pull each bead toward you with your thumb. Continue reciting mantra and pulling each bead as you recite it. Once you reached Guru bead this the end of one cycle.
5. Turn around as you head back the other way if you are keen to do another set.

Mala Cleansing through Smudging

1. Make sure to do this in a well-ventilated room, open windows if necessary.
2. Light your smudge stick, then blow out the flame.
3. Pass your mala through the smoke for about 30 seconds.
4. Keep the sage in a heatproof container until it’s extinguished.
