This 108 Rainbow Malachite Mala is a string of beads that are made of wood, seeds, pearls, semi-precious or precious stones. It consists of 108 beads, and it is considered sacred in the yoga practice. Most mala have 109th bead called the Meru bead or guru bead, which is typically placed at the center of the mala. Some believe that beads carry energy. Wearing mala as a necklace or as a bracelet throughout the day helps you manifest the power of the stone.

• Silver Flower Guru Bead – 10 mm
• Entire length is approximately 58-60 cm from top to end of tassel.
• This knotted necklace is made using Cotton thread to put malachite beads together without stretching or fraying.
• Comes with a muslin bag where you can keep mala when not in use or when placing on top of your meditation altar.

How To Use this malachite mala necklace

1. Choose a quiet still place to meditate, away from all the distractions.
2. Sitting comfortably preferably in lotus pose, hold with your right or left hand while cradling the weight with your other hand.
3. Set intention first. You can either close your eyes to focus or soft gaze focus on something.
4. Start reciting your mantra, as you recite your mantra; pull each bead toward you with your thumb.
5. Continue reciting mantra and pulling each bead as you recite it. Once you reached Guru bead this the end of one cycle.
6. Turn around as you head back the other way if you are keen to do another set.

Mala Cleansing through Smudging

1. Make sure to do this in a well-ventilated room, open windows if necessary.
2. Light your smudge stick, then blow out the flame.
3. Pass your mala through the smoke for about 30 seconds.
4. Keep the sage in a heatproof container until it’s extinguished.
