This Blue Turquoise Beads mala has been crafted with the intention of COURAGE. It’s been designed to give emotional security, self-acceptance and stability. This is a 108-hand knotted Blue turquoise beads that can be used as meditation beads, affirmation beads, mantra beads or worn as a mala necklace.

It has been hand-knotted with vegan thread and holds 108 beads, a sacred number that represents spiritual wholeness. Cotton thread is used for putting beads together without stretching or fraying. Cotton thread is also used to make tassel.

Many Native American cultures believe that turquoise connects the mind to the infinite possibilities of the Universe. As a throat Chakra stone, turquoise helps to foster honest and open communication. In working to protect and align the chakras, turquoise strengthens the entire mind and body in the process. The mala measures 60 – 63 cm/21in from the top of the neck to the end of the tassel when worn or 35cm/14in when double wrapped around the neck.

Tip: If you like, you can place a drop of your favorite essential oil on the turquoise beads. Wait a few moments to allow the oil to absorb to avoid staining clothes. Then take a deep breath and feel a sense of calm descend.

How To Use Your Blue Turquoise Beads Mala

1. Choose a quiet still place to meditate, away from all the distractions.
2. Sitting comfortably preferably in lotus pose, hold with your right or left hand while cradling the weight with your other hand.
3. Set intention first. You can either close your eyes to focus or soft gaze focus on something.
4. Start reciting your mantra, as you recite your mantra; pull each bead toward you with your thumb. Continue reciting mantra and pulling each bead as you recite it. Once you reached Guru bead this the end of one cycle. Turn around as you head back the other way if you are keen to do another set.

Mala Cleansing through Smudging

1. Make sure to do this in a well-ventilated room, open windows if necessary.
2. Light your smudge stick, then blow out the flame.
3. Pass your mala through the smoke for about 30 seconds.
4. Keep the sage in a heatproof container until it’s extinguished.
